J. MURRAY EGAN
Murray’s practice includes substantial experience in both the planning of clients’ estates and the administration of resulting estates and trusts. Such services involve lifetime and after-death actions designed to foster the preservation of wealth and its transmission according to client intentions.

He also has extensive experience connected with the administration of guardianship estates, some involving oil and gas interests, in more than one state.

Representative Matters
• Obtained court approval of estate planning for incapacitated persons in Pennsylvania
and Texas.
• Demonstrated coverage for counterfeited warehouse receipts under Bankers Blanket
Bond to the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. The primary supporting authority was
secretary’s high school grammar book. Judge Goodrich commented approvingly on
counsel’s “ingenious diagram” of the controlling provision.
• Served as counsel for fiduciaries of several estates and trusts with oil and gas
interests in a number of states and foreign countries.
