LeRoy is a highly experienced attorney practicing tax, business and estate planning law.
A Certified Public Accountant and MBA, LeRoy counsels businesses and their owners in complex tax situations involving disputes, audits, and appeals, including matters involving tax fraud and failure to file. He represents both businesses and individuals confronting federal, state, and local tax problems.
His advice to and representation of clients in mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, refinancings and other business, tax, and legal transactions and problems adds value to his service as a board member for several corporations. Filling the niche in creative estate planning, LeRoy helps clients minimize estate and inheritance taxes, protect their families, and direct their assets according to their wishes. Often working closely with CPAs, he coordinates the personal needs of business owners with those of their businesses to preserve wealth through generations.

Representative Matters
• Represented numerous buyers and sellers in various corporate acquisitions,
sales and mergers.
• Assisted clients in shareholder disputes to achieve business settlements to
problems and avoid very expensive, bitter and lengthy litigation.
• Represented a businessman from idea, through incorporation, several rounds of
equity and debt sales and ultimately profitable sale of the enterprise.
• Assisted corporate client which had been the victim of embezzlement by trusted
employee through recovery of funds and prosecution of perpetrator.
• Obtained numerous IRS agreements to compromise tax debts for a fraction of the
liability based upon either an original mistake by the IRS or taxpayer’s diminished
ability to pay.
• Prevented disastrous estate tax from befalling estates of terminally ill individuals
who had no wills by obtaining court appointment of family members as guardians
and directing assets to trusts with tax saving provisions.
