Biography

Ken's practice deals mainly with commercial loan workouts, bankruptcy, commercial loan documentation, trust and estate litigation, and general corporate work. He came to Metz Lewis a financial veteran, having worked at a bank for twenty-seven years.

Ken has been married to Brooke for 33 years and has two grown children (his daughter is studying at IUP and his son is studying to be a naval pilot). He prefers to spend his weekends outdoors, hiking or golfing. He also enjoys a good history book.

Ken provides advice and representation in a wide variety of finance and commercial loan workout transactions. He routinely represents commercial lenders and borrowers in the negotiation and drafting of complex commercial loan documentation in the areas of asset based lending, secured lending and tax-free and real estate finance.

He has a diverse range of experience in corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, bank branch sale and purchase transactions, and vendor contracts.

Additionally, Ken has represented banks in a variety of real estate lending, acquisition, sales, leasing, development and construction matters. His representation has included negotiation, documentation and closing of purchase, sale or lease transactions.
