STEVEN PETRIKIS
Steve has a broad range of experience in all types of civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial and complex litigation matters such as breach of contract claims, shareholder disputes, breach of warranty claims, merger and acquisition disputes, covenants not to compete, civil rights issues, property disputes, bank liability claims, and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy.

Additionally, Steve has substantial experience in commercial tax assessment litigation and pursuit of tax exempt status for non-profit corporations. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in both state and federal courts throughout the country, including appellate advocacy.

He also counsels clients as to when a commercial dispute might most appropriately be resolved in an alternative dispute resolution forum, and has represented those clients in mediation and arbitration before the American Arbitration Association.

Steve is certified as a mediator, arbitrator and early neutral evaluator by the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and has been selected as a member of the Board of Neutrals of the American Arbitration Association.
