Frank Kelley is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group, where he focuses his practice on patent, trademark, and other intellectual property matters. He works with companies and individual innovators to protect and advance their ideas, guiding them through patent prosecution, trademark matters, and related IP strategies.
Frank approaches his practice as a service built on clarity, responsiveness, and trust. He works closely with clients to ensure they understand both the legal process and the strategy behind it, helping reduce uncertainty and allowing them to make informed decisions. By maintaining transparent communication and a collaborative approach, Frank helps clients navigate complex intellectual property issues with confidence.
Driven by a strong intellectual curiosity, Frank is particularly drawn to working with clients developing new and emerging technologies. He enjoys diving into technical subject matter and partnering with innovators to help bring their ideas to market and protect what they have built.
Frank is registered as a patent attorney with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and brings a scientific research background to his practice. Frank gained practical experience with molecular biology research during college, focusing on the roles of the Tribbles-1 pseudokinase in regulating plasma lipid metabolism in the liver and adipose tissue and how the absence of type VI collagen improves cardiac function, structure, and remodeling following myocardial infarction.
Outside of his practice, Frank is an avid reader who enjoys going to the movies and spending time with his wife and family.
