He has particular expertise in drafting and negotiating build-to-suit and triple net office, industrial and retail space leases on behalf of national tenants and prominent landlords, as well as counseling clients in sophisticated transactions involving the acquisition and disposition of real estate across the country.

  • Represented one of the largest electronic health record network providers in the United States in the drafting and negotiation of two (2) build-to-suit office building lease agreements, each building comprising over 105,000 square feet with aggregate annual rentals in excess of $6 million
  • Represented a medical device and software solution company in the drafting and negotiation of an office and manufacturing lease agreement comprising approximately 42,000 square feet and with annual rentals in excess of $645,000
  • Represented one of the country's largest vertically integrated cannabis companies in the drafting and negotiation of a build-to-suit cultivation and grow facility in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, which included annual rent payments in excess of $3,000,000.00
  • Represented privately funded, non-profit corporation serving the Pittsburgh metropolitan area in the creation of an industrial lease agreement template for future tenants
  • Represented real estate developer in the acquisition of a portfolio of office park buildings in suburban Pittsburgh
  • Represented one of the largest banks in the United States in financing the acquisition of a portfolio of fast-food restaurants; led team of twelve attorneys and paralegals to conduct title and survey review of more than 150 properties in twelve (12) states
  • Represented private equity firm in the sale of two (2) student housing developments at Ohio University and East Tennessee State University
  • Represented private operator of regional shopping centers in the acquisition, redevelopment (including financing) and ultimate disposition of five (5) retail shopping centers in the greater Pittsburgh region
