Neva is a member of the firm’s Corporate Practice Group focusing on labor, employment and benefits as those matters impact our corporate clients in the their day to day operations and during the acquisition process.

She has decades of experience assisting public and private sector employers navigate the challenges that come with having people work for you. Regardless of the number of employees or your revenue, myriad laws and regulations apply to hiring, maintaining, and managing a workforce.

With a background in employment litigation and human resource counseling, Neva helps clients comply with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations and to formulate and implement practical and defendable policies and practices in the areas of hiring and recruiting, employment investigations, policy drafting, employment covenants, terminations, trainings, and defending employment claims in court and administrative organizations.

Central to her practice at Metz Lewis is the interplay between employment law and employers’ best practices.  Neva routinely drafts, reviews, and negotiates employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and other contracts and agreements related to employment and work relationships. She is also an integral part of the transactional diligence process for the firm’s expanding mergers and acquisitions team.
