Metz Lewis Brodman Must O’Keefe is seeking a mid-level associate (3–7 years of law firm experience) to join our Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate practice group.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling M&A and other strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset and stock deals, transaction documentation and ancillary agreements, due diligence, and negotiation of definitive agreements, as well as general corporate and commercial matters in support of our clients’ ongoing needs. Experience managing transactions and other client matters with a high degree of responsibility and client interaction is strongly preferred.
Our M&A and corporate group is fast-paced and consistently busy, offering associates the opportunity to work on complex transactions, collaborate directly with partners, and develop meaningful client relationships. Associates are expected to be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple matters in a demanding practice environment.
Qualifications Include:
- 3–7 years of experience at a law firm with a focus on M&A, corporate, or commercial work
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines in a high-volume practice
- Excellent academic credentials and communication skills
