Metz Lewis President and founding member Chris Brodman will speak at the 2026 Columbus Smart Business Dealmakers Conference on Thursday, September 24, at the Hilton Columbus Downtown.
Chris will participate in “Plotting the Future of Your Family Business: Evaluating the Paths Ahead,” presented by Metz Lewis and Trinity Financial Advisors. The session will examine the options available to family business owners as they consider what comes next, including transitioning leadership and ownership to the next generation, pursuing an ESOP, bringing in a financial partner to support growth, or selling the business.
The discussion will be moderated by Ben Hartings, Partner at Trinity Financial Advisors. Chris will be joined by Kevin Bruns, Vice President/Sales at Bruns Construction Enterprises, and Marc Hawk, founder and former CEO of RevLocal.
Drawing on their experience advising, leading, and growing businesses, the panelists will discuss how families can evaluate their options, navigate competing priorities, and select a path that aligns with the long-term goals of the business and the family.
