The Law Firm of Metz Lewis Brodman Must O’Keefe LLC is pleased to announce the addition of Manning J. “Jim” O’Connor II and Sammy Sugiura Jr to our growing team of experienced, solutions-driven lawyers.
Both attorneys are in the Employment and Labor practice group with Jim serving as group leader.
Jim has more than 30 years of trial experience in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and several other states. He represents businesses in a wide range of disputes involving all aspects of employment litigation. These include breaches of contract, harassment, and discrimination claims; non-compete/non-solicitation agreements; and trade secrets, among others. He also handles complex commercial litigation matters and healthcare litigation.
Sammy’s primary experience involves counseling employers throughout the country on a variety of issues in the field of labor and employment law. As part of his practice, Sammy has successfully represented clients in all phases of litigation, and also has extensive courtroom experience, having taken more than 90 jury and non-jury trials to verdict.
