The President has now signed The American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012, barely snatching victory from the jaws of the tax monster and a plethora of negative events that would almost certainly have followed a failure to enact the new tax laws.

Everyone knows the top tax bracket for families has now risen to 39.6% for taxable incomes that exceed $450,000.
