Metz Lewis is pleased to have represented BPL Global, LLC, which operates as Connected Energy in its acquisition by CLEAResult, an energy and utility services company backed by leading middle market private equity firm, Kohlberg & Company. Connected Energy provides demand management and distributed energy resource management (DERMS) solutions to electric utilities across the United States.
The acquisition adds Connected Energy’s established DERMS platform, direct load control technology, and specialized agricultural demand response capabilities to CLEAResult’s existing offerings, expanding its demand management capabilities across commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets.
