April 15 is now July 15.
The U.S. Treasury Secretary just announced that the filing date for individuals to file 2019 federal income tax returns has been postponed by ninety days to July 15, 2020. So far the official IRS notice on this point has not been released – so more news later.
Importantly, Pennsylvania and local tax authorities have not yet changed their filing deadlines. We will keep you informed.
